It's plastic but still works quite well.

It's not metallic, I thought it was, it's plastic but it's pleasant to the touch. The seller was very serious and fulfilled the delivery, I recommend him 100%. The product, although made of plastic, surprises me a lot; it's very addictive. The sensation is supremely pleasant and it helps me a lot with my ADHD and anxiety, especially when I need to concentrate. It's easy to use, very intuitive, and has several movement options. You can just raise or lower it, or just rotate with one hand, or raise, rotate, lower, rotate whatever you want. I am very, very satisfied with the purchase. I hope they release a metallic one with magnets; that would be great. I would buy it regardless of the cost. If you suffer from anxiety and move a lot, this will undoubtedly help you. An excellent product that far exceeded my expectations.
